How to identify personal factors of stress
Obviously, the more you think more closely at things stressing you, the more easily you handle stressful situations in your life. And this because:
Once you discover the root of your stress and triggers, the more you have more chance to avoid.
Learn to understand where they come from and how your feelings evolve to have control in your life. This will help to reduce the daily stress.
Recognize that the stress is a bad behavior and not something else – this will help reduce your anxiety behavior
Identify personal factors of stress, depending on stress scale.
Review the severity of stress caused by regular events, such as marriage and divorce, birth and death, going to college or change in your service. Events located on the first position of this scale – those of death, accidents or illness – are considered to be at greatest risk for onset of physical and mental disorders related to stress than those at the end of the list (such as, retirement or receiving a traffic fine). People who are at risk, namely those that have more than one stress factor of “high caliber, they need the most a stress management system”.
Stress is a different experience for each of us – birth and death, accidents or illness, if were the victim of robbers or a similar crime, dramatic changes in life that affects your family and the financial situation.
More specific studies show that there are about 50 major events that may be listed depending on the degree of stress it causes. The higher the number of stressful events they live, the more there is a greater risk to develop a physical or mental illness.
* Death of your spouse or life partner;
* An accident or serious illness;
* Failure to obtain a loan or a financial help;
* Divorce;
* The fact that you were the victim of robbers, of a rape, etc..;
* Infidelity;
* Domestic violence or sexual abuse;
* A very bad financial period;
* The fact that you survived a disaster;
* The fact that you are a single parent;
* The fact that you were arrested or a family member was arrested for breaking the law;
* Obtaining a mortgage on the house
As you can see, stress can come from many sources, some perhaps unexpected.
Organic Foods – How to Stay Healthy

Health nowadays is a matter that makes people be in constant search for ways that will enable them to stay healthy or to improve the state of their health. Everybody knows how important a healthy diet is, a constant physical exercise, and enough rest all of these having a deep impact on the entire state of our being. Organic food is among the products that people find them healthy and as such beneficial for the good health state.
In case you wonder how organic foods are produced you have to know that the are very strictly supervised and as such the growing and packaging are made without the use of any pesticides, preservatives, synthetic coloring and other chemicals.
The products that are non-organic meaning that they are subject to many chemicals that are not all the time supervised and checked enough to know about their effects on humans. These chemicals can be as well the generating cause for various diseases, allergies and cancer included.
One of the factors that can talk in the organic food favor is that these products aren’t injected with anything that is unreliable. For instance dairy and meat products are free from an other type of chemicals. On the other hand, the non-organic meat is produced by farmers who give their livestock various supplements even hormones to make the grow faster.
As a result the cows will also produce milk loaded with the chemicals injected. The organic foods in its turn have their diary products from livestock fed with natural food (that is free from chemicals) without being submitted to various growth hormones or antibiotics.
There is another benefit from consuming organic food that maybe not too many are aware of: it is environmentally friendly. When consuming the non-organic foods that are treated with chemicals, even the packages are contaminated and as such their waste will harm the environment.
With the organic food even the soil is clean, uncontaminated without the experience of chemicals implemented for growing. Since all the benefits of consuming organic foods last for long time it is moreover indicated to switch to these foods as a responsible and healthy act.
Producers of organic foods from other countries need a special certificate to guarantee that their products are chemicals-free. These products although the are destined to cure diseases, they are known to reduce the risks of getting contaminated and as such making the body more resistant in front of health attackers.
In the recent years the market for organic foods has evolved at a rapid pace as customers become more and more aware of the harmful effects that pesticides and fertilizers (the man-made ones) have upon the crops and as such for humans’ health. At the moment non-organic growers can use 1,000 chemicals injected in their crops, but this leads to the soil erosion and to the toxicity that can transfer into our drinking water.

We all know the importance of calcium for the body, especially for our bones. Scientists have discovered a new benefit in children: can prevent obesity in adulthood.
Researchers at the University of North Carolina State say that calcium deficiency in children can have great and lasting implications. Besides affecting bone development, calcium deficiency predisposes to obesity, ScienceDaily wrote.
The study was conducted on a group of 24 newborn piglets and was based on studying the link between calcium deficiency and bone development. During the research, specialists found that many bone marrow stem cells seemed already programmed to become fat cells. Thus increases the risk of osteoporosis and obesity in adulthood.
Researchers have used pigs to study because they are like people when bone growth and nutrition
.
“Although it is well known the importance of calcium in the nutrition of children and teenagers, the study shows that this mineral shows a much greater importance due to bone mesenchymal stem cells. The results also show that osteoporosis should not be treated as an aging disease, but one that begins in childhood but occurs later. For me, the most important message of this study is that this mineral should be a priority in nutrition since the first days of life
, “Said Dr. Chad Stahl, author of the study.
Your child consumes enough milk?
Eating habits affecting children’s long-term health may affect bone development. But studies indicate that calcium deficiency is a common problem among children. For a healthy and harmonious development, experts recommend regular consumption of milk or dairy, to ensure the body needs of calcium.
99% of existing calcium in the body is stored in the skeleton. Products most accessible and rich in calcium are milk and dairy products. Calcium-rich sources are: green vegetables (broccoli, cabbage), fish (especially sardines), nuts, peanuts and tofu (soy cheese).
Recommended daily intake of calcium
World Health Organization recommends the following daily doses of calcium to develop and maintain a strong skeletal system:

The fact that eating more fruits or vegetables is not at all enough inside a healthier eating habits diet, as the purity of these products is actually what that matters. Due to the fact that food is grown and raised in so many unusual ways can have a great impact on your health.
Maybe you would like first to know what is the difference between organic foods and conventional foods. The main difference is the way how the organic and the conventional foods are grown and enter the processing.
The food that is conventional contain chemicals from the fertilizers and insecticides but at the same time they are grown with natural fertilizers. Anyway, for a food to be considered organic has to meet some standards which include:
- the food must be grown on soil that contains no chemicals (including potassium chloride, sewage sludge, or lead salts), being free from these ones with at least three years before the first harvest is made.
- food is not allowed to be modified including the use of genetically modified organisms, additives and irradiation.
- they have to be kept away from the non-organic food while they grow and process.
- organic livestock needs to be fed with 100% organic food.
- the animals should have outdoors access where appropriate exercise could be made.
Now that the organic food is defined let’s see which are the negative aspects of conventional foods. The School of Medicine in New York has performed a study to check human beings for pollutants and it was concluded that 84 chemicals were found in the individual’s blood some of them being actually outlawed for many years. This amount is considered the chemical burden of the body and it was connected to behavioral disorders and motor dysfunctions.
Genetically modified organisms can have a negative impact on health state such as unknown allergies, increased levels of toxins hence an antibiotic resistance, decreased levels of nutrition as well.
Due to the fact that many illnesses have increased, a lot of countries have undergone the method of irradiating the food in order to kill E.coli and Salmonella bacterias. Once the food is irradiated it can be exposed to carcinogens but the risks are yet unknown to the consumers.
When it comes to organic foods the benefits are plenty:
- no exposure to the irradiation and pesticides.- this food contains more antioxidants that the conventional foods.- they have higher content of magnesium, vitamin C, iron, and calcium, along with other nutrients.
Organic foods can be found in the majority of supermarkets and groceries and if your grocer doesn’t have it, once you ask they might be interested in supplying the store with such food unless you will be forced to go the other store which carries organic foods instead.

1. Avoid the sun
However sunlight are beneficial for skin. His rays have the greatest power in the middle of the day, between 10.00 – 14.00. During this time, the sun is most harmful for your skin. Exaggerated sunburn and tan is the first sign that your skin is suffering.
2. Use cream with protection factor (SPF)
Use creams with sun screen against or protection factor (SPF) of at least 15, even in cloudy days. The cream should be applied 30 minutes before you expose to the sun. Do not think that the sun does not affect you during your walks around town – is preferable to apply the cream all over skin, even on the ears and neck. Also, balding men should use such a cream with SPF on the scalp. Do not forget to apply a new coat of cream each time, especially if you swim or sweat excessively.
Remember that using these products with SPF is a step in the program to prevent skin cancer. To greatly reduce the risk of disease, must follow all the tips against ultraviolet rays.
3. Wear a wide hat, sunglasses and protective clothing
If you need to get out, cover your skin. A wide hat will help to protect your face, neck and ears from the harmful effects of the sun. Choose sunglasses that block both ultraviolet A (UVA) and B (UVB). Eye exposure to the sun for a long time increases the risk of cataracts. Instead, using sunglasses can prevent this. If your clothes are a little wider, your body will feel coolness. Also, there are special clothing that protects you against the sun.
What other preventive measures exist?
Some doctors recommend monthly dermatological control. If you have questions about this recommendation, consult your family doctor. The more this type of cancer is detected and diagnosed quickly, is a greater chance to be treated. It is preferable to do dermatological control every month.

Why Bother to Grow Your Own Organic Food? – 5 Reasons
Using your garden to grown the organic food is a way to allow your family to stay healthy feeding them with chemicals-free food. This is how organic gardening can do a lot in this respect whether you own a large space or a tiny little garden. The organic gardening is a way to make your own existence more sustainable.
The reasons why you should do this is down bellow:
1. To sustain a better environment
Organic food also known as bio stands for that kind of food products that haven’t been altered with the aid of any chemical additives.
The organic food category basically includes all types of fruit, vegetable or meat products that came out of organic gardening, meaning no kind of chemical pesticide or nutrients have been applied to the soil or to the plant before, during or while its harvest, or from raising animals for their meet without over feeding them in order to get profit from their weight when sold.
As non-organic food depends on pesticides and fertilizers made on oil, you can avoid using these into our soil and as such reduce the carbon footprint into the ground hence into the environment.
2. Taste and flavor
There were at the beginning the hippies who used to grow their own organic food, but now ou can be the one to do so. Now all the TV shows on food channel recommend the organic ingredients for their taste and flavor.
You can do a test on this subject all by yourself: buy a tomato from the supermarket and then one that belongs to an organic food store. Taste them and compare the flavor; soon you realize that being big and shiny as the tomato from the supermarket is, can not be enough. It has to taste good and have a natural flavor of the real thing.
3. Keeping the good health
Every months there are new allergies that emerge due to the presence of chemicals in the food production and processing. The companies involved in this industry ensure us that the chemicals are safe without having effects on our body and its health state. But how can you rely on this when seeing how many long-term effects are emerging with every month? Why not grow your own organic food for the health of your entire family?
4. Independence
Why would you prefer to leave the life of your family depend on others when making them consume products of the big supermarkets and as such spend money that can be more wisely invested in something more healthy. Be your own master of your healthy life and control what you provide to your body with your own organic gardening products.
5. Cost
Starting for the very beginning it might cost you a little to have your own garden set up; but you have to think it as a good investment. For instance a package of organic tomato seeds costs only a couple of dollars. Only half of those seeds can provide tomatoes for 5 months of the year. Next ear you can use the seeds of your own organic plants for the next harvest. This process can be done with anything you choose to plant and grow inside your organic garden.
