However maintaining the routine is not all one must also put daily sunscreen lotions and avoid the harsh sun. Well this only relates to the skin care regime. The diet is also a big factor in contributing to aging. That is why doctors recommend a lot of protein intake and lots of water to flush out the toxins

Another miracle aid to anti aging is vitamin C; it is an anti oxidant, which protects the skin from damaging free radicals. It also increases collagen production in the skin, which is needed to keep skin firm. L-ascorbic acid is the type of vitamin c that has shown the best wrinkle relief.

AHA or alpha hydroxy acids are also miracle exfoliants that are used to help remove fine lines and wrinkles already present on the skin. AHA’s remove the top layer of dead skin cells to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. AHA can be used in a daily skin care regime and should be used when the skin has been cleaned. There are plenty creams in the market that have this magic potion that help in the anti aging process.

Mental stress has been called a major contributor to skin aging; one should take up meditation and yoga in order to fight back stress. Calm senses also lead to a better lifestyle, better eating habits and mental peace. Tai – Chi is also another major meditation form that can help in relaxing the senses.

Sleeping is an integral part of keeping the skin beautiful. When we decrease the number of hours we sleep we eliminate the essential cleansing that the body goes through when we are asleep. Additionally fatigue and overall feeling of tiredness cause wrinkles to appear on the face. Therefore it is necessary to get 6-8 hours of sleep to ensure skin healthy recovery each night.

In addition to the number of hours we get of sleep, the position we sleep in also affects our skins possibility for wrinkles. Overtime sleeping upside down causes wrinkles to appear until they become permanently engrained within the skin. The wrinkles appear because our skin comes in contact with the pillows or the bed sheet which marks prints on the face. To avoid this from happening it’s best to sleep on our back. Side sleeping causes chin and cheek wrinkles where as stomach sleeping can cause crow’s feet and a furrowed brow.

Lastly our eyesight can greatly affect the appearance of wrinkles of our face. Squinting causes fine lines and wrinkles to appear around the eyes. Therefore one must avoid squinting by wearing sunglasses when they are in the sun. By including these simple and easy tips in our daily lives we can reduce the appearance of existing wrinkles and reduce the chance of wrinkles appearing as we age.
